WHOSE VOICE ARE YOU LISTENING TO?

There are many voices in the world, and each one has an opinion of its own. Like radio waves on multiple wavelengths, broadcast simultaneously, all are clamouring for your attention.

Some offer ‘wisdom’ yet instead teach lies; others offer ‘knowledge’ but merely distract; more offer ‘secrets’ and ‘spiritual insights’ but instead deceive, whilst yet others simply fill your minds with ‘white noise’, occupying and capturing the hearts of mankind with useless clamour.

Voice follows voice, like thundering waterfalls, until their very insistency gains its own place of honour, applauded by mankind simply because it’s loud enough to capture your attention and be noticed.

Yet there is only one Voice that is important to hear – My Voice, as Father, Son and Holy Spirit.  When you listen and respond to My Voice, you hear truth, for I Am Truth!

When you hear and give attention to any other voice, you risk deception, like moths drawn to a bright light by nothing more than the shouting and fluency of those who have a wish to be heard, claiming to speak in My Name when I have not sent them. They utter fictions, capturing My people’s hearts and drawing them away with false teachings, hopes and dreams. Why is it that you seek influences like these from the world?

Many of My people, captivated by the charisma of such voices, have become anaesthetised to the sound of My Voice, convinced they are unable to hear Me for themselves. They seek out the voices of these ‘others’ who claim to speak for Me – those who delight foolish ears, speaking what My enemy wants you to hear. Such worldly wisdom is intent on leading you away from Me, and to dull you to the Voice of My Spirit. So many have sought false wisdom in the past – even rulers pressured My true prophets to speak only what they wanted to hear from them; but they refused.

My Truth stands, and it’s only My Word, My Voice, that matters.

Here’s truth: I have always spoken to you, always wanted you to listen, and always and made it possible for you to do so. Truth is not found in many words, nor is it a ‘thing’ to be obtained and owned by you. If you listen that way, you merely seek information like dumb animals, forgetting discernment, and wanting only morsels of ‘spiritual gossip’ to pass on to others, like the false prophets of old.

No! I alone am the Way, the Truth and the Life. I have ordained for You to hear My voice, for I am Truth. I give revelation, not information.

So draw near to Me, abide in Me, listen to Me. For “My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me.” (John 10:27).
