WARRIORS OF THE SPIRIT: A PROPHETIC WORD FOR NEW ZEALAND

The hearts of the watchmen, gatekeepers, intercessors, and those travailing and wailing in New Zealand—your capacity is being enlarged. The Lord hears your birth groans.

Since we landed in New Zealand this week, the Lord has been speaking to me about the Warrior Spirit that is arising within the prayer company of this nation.

Definition of Warrior: a person engaged or experienced in warfare; a soldier.

The Lord reminded me that during my visit to New Zealand last year, He spoke these words: “A fresh, pure wind of intercession is going to blow over New Zealand. These powerful winds of change are calling prodigals back home. Get ready for the precious harvest of the earth.”

I was also reminded of a previous word the Lord gave me for New Zealand, where He referred to the people of this land as fierce warriors from the day of their beginning.

This land is awakening to the call that is going out across Aotearoa: “Rise up and declare the words that have been spoken over your land! Decree the word of the Lord over this nation—it will not return void.”

The Lord says: “I am increasing your capacity in the realm of prayer—over this nation and coming out of this nation. The boundaries of the enemy are being pushed back. As you lift up your voices, there is a new boldness coming out of this nation. My power is being carried in your voices.You will see the atmosphere shift as people join together to pray over cities, regions, and the nation. In one heart and one accord, a multi-generational prayer movement will arise, establishing greater unity.”

I saw a vision of canoes going out from New Zealand’s shores in all directions. The people aboard were dressed as warriors—twelve in each boat. These prayer missionaries were fierce and strong. Some carried musical instruments, and others held sickles.

I believe the Lord is saying that prayer warriors from New Zealand will go out into the nations—teams sent forth to stand with other people groups and nations, encouraging them to endure and fight.

I particularly sensed the mandate to come alongside the Southern Lands of the Holy Spirit—Australia, the Asian Rim, and the South Pacific Islands.

Many have spent decades on the threshing floors of the Lord, symbolised by the sickles. Part of your victory will be released through worship, symbolised by the instruments.

Many will go to the nations without fanfare in the natural—hidden from the eyes of men and not standing on the large stages of the world to receive the accolades of people. This work will be done in secret, yet you will see the abundant fruit it produces.

Many in the Body of Christ in New Zealand will be stirred to take part in these prayer assignments—those who have been prepared in the secret place and refined by fire. Though they may have had little public voice, they have captured the ear of the King.

A great prayer army is being mobilised from the nation of New Zealand to boldly go to the nations of the world.
