PROPHETIC WORDS

THE SOUTH LAND OF THE HOLY SPIRIT – A CALL TO FAST AND PRAY

by Stephen Hanson

I believe we are in a kairos moment. I had an encounter with the Lord in August 2017. I was in a vision positioned high above looking down on the east coast of Australia, and I could see New Zealand and the Islands of the South Pacific region. At that moment I knew this was the 1606 prophecy of Captain Fernandez de Quiros, “the Southern land of the Holy Ghost” and I heard the Lord say,”I am breathing upon the Islands now. It’s gentle, but the wind of my Spirit will increase upon the lands of the South Pacific. It has begun.”

Recently the Lord reminded me of the 100-year-old prophecies of William Seymour and Maria Woodworth-Etter.

Sister Maria Woodworth-Etter prophesied of the coming End Time Revival, and spoke of a time coming in 100 years, after the 1913 Chicago Visitation: "We are not yet up to the fullness of the Former Rain and that when the Latter Rain comes, it will far exceed anything we have seen!"

In 1909 William Seymour, the leader of the Azusa Street Awakening, also prophesied that in about a 100 years there would be an outpouring of God's Spirit and His Shekinah Glory that would be greater and more far-reaching than what was experienced at Azusa.

I believe we are in the Daniel 9 moment where Daniel, reading the book of Jeremiah, became aware that the 70-year-old prophesy had concluded, and that it was time for the prophetic promise to come. Daniel‘s response was fasting and prayer to the Lord for the promise of Israel, restoration, and fullness.

Our time of divine destiny has come. We are about to experience what Brother Seymour and Sister Woodworth-Etter foresaw, and what Captain Fernandez de Quiros prophesied over the South Pacific region.

There is something dynamic about to unfold. We are being invited into this divine moment in history. Therefore, I believe we are at the very beginning of harvest and what has been declared both over the South Pacific and globally concerning a pouring out of God’s Spirit. I believe it is a time for cities around New Zealand and the Islands to fast and pray for the promise of God to come into fullness. The terms we use may differ: revival, new wine, the later rain, however the meaning is the same—the pouring out of the Holy Spirit, unto souls being saved. (Acts 2).

This may not be your traditional experience to fast. But I feel strongly that we are not to take a casual approach as we enter into 2018.

Friends, would you join me in calling the Body of Christ across the South Pacific to become one voice before God for the prophetic promise of God for the pouring out of the Spirit unto the Harvest.

It’s regional gatherings and corporate times of fasting.
It's about UNITY, FASTING, AND PRAYER on a regional scale. It’s a corporate voice.
It’s a “regional upper-room".

Historically, fasting and prayer have always preceded significant moves of God.

Join with us and the Body of Christ in the South Pacific to fast and pray for 40 days, from 14 January - 22 February 2018.
