REDEEMING WATERS

This prophetic word was given at the Prophetic Round Table gathering in Christchurch, March 2026.

I see the deep waters, I see them at the base of our maunga ki enei whenua (mountains of the land) and throughout this nation. The earth is dry, cracking and opening, and the waters from the deep are starting to bubble up – they are not spurting up like geysers, but are seeping up out of the earth.

Waters underneath the waters. Deeper waters, the wells of the deep, are opening over the nation. And these waters are deeper than our natural springs.

These waters are supernatural and redemptive. These waters are doing work in the unseen realm. It’s happening quietly, unseen until it is time to be seen. Creation is moving, the land is moving, and God is doing this. It’s not coming out of humanity. 

It is the same waters that were there at the beginning when the Spirit of God hovered over the deep, and He caused the depths to well up, and creation was formed by the word of His mouth. Creation is now crying out, and the crown of Christ’s creation (humanity) is awakening, bringing an understanding of indigeneity and their role in creation in this nation and the nations.

The marae atea (open area in front of the wharenui where formal welcomes to visitors takes place and issues are debated): a sacred place where deep is calling unto deep and where the Lord is calling again into His people, a sovereign plumbline from those beginning waters when He spoke “let there be” and “it was”. In this place of atea, this place of words and narratives, of whakapapa, of histories, of welcoming and of challenges, God is releasing deep waters carrying the sweetness of heaven. The deep water that He is releasing will overshadow everything natural.

The land has wept for generations – for Māori and for those who have released words of life. The wailing of kuia can be heard from their contention over whenua, over whanau, hapu, iwi. Their weeping is calling for the seeds planted in intercession over generations. God is now breaking the ground, releasing the living waters, and awakening the seed for birthing. God has heard!

John 7: 38 (AMPC) “He who believes in me [who cleaves to and trusts in and relies on me] as the scripture has said, from his innermost being shall flow [continuously] springs and rivers of living water).”

I’ve not forgotten your crying out – I’ve not forgotten your seed Māori – I’ve not forgotten you: the deep waters of redemption are released and the Lord is remembering those who travailed, those young men and women whose feet carried the gospel throughout the land and the seeds that were sown amongst tupuna across the nation, this seed is awakening and creation awaits them.

All of creation awaits the awakening of the sons of God – Rom 8: 22 (AMPC) “For we know that the whole of creation has been moaning together as in the pains of childbirth until now. And not only this, but we too who have the first fruits of the spirit (a joyful indication of the blessings to come), even we grow inwardly as we wait eagerly for (the sign of) our adoption as sons – the redemption and transformation of our body (at the resurrection).”

Awaken your kingdom generals – awaken your apostolic statesmen – awaken your apostolic government in the nation – your seer prophets and intercessors – your five-fold ministers, Lord.

Aotearoa NZ belongs to the Lord, and every nation within the nation will cling to you.

Awaken! Awaken! Awaken the body of Christ!
