PREPARE FOR BIRTHING

This prophetic word was given at the NZ Council of Prophets gathering and Behold Conference in Christchurch, March 2026.

Clean up

The clean-up continues in the house of God. The testing intensifies.

Psa 11:4 “The Lord is in his holy temple; the Lord is on his heavenly throne. He observes everyone on earth; his eyes examine them.” Deep motivations, attitudes, are being tested – when it appears that He is not looking, what is our behaviour?

Location and Alliances

I believe that God is calling us to reassess our alliances and our positions individually. There is a responsibility on us for course correction if it is necessary. It is essential that these relationships and locations are correct for the new phase we are entering. There are lessons to be learnt from the mistakes made by Samson and David, who, though both called, anointed and set apart, allowed themselves to be in compromising relationships, from being in spiritually illegal locations.

God is asking us, “Where are we when we feel that He’s not looking, and with whom?”

Exodus and Birthing

I heard the cry “Exodus! Exodus!”

The time is ripe now for the exodus of people groups and individuals. I feel that this is for individuals, but also for people groups internationally. Leaving places of despair, restriction, and apparent lack of provision for a new place. There is a birthing into a new place completely – a new place of liberty. With that new place comes new responsibilities. The promises fulfilled, but new responsibilities are becoming apparent. The prime responsibility currently is to push! The door is ajar, the Lord has cracked it open, now we push, fearlessly, trusting in His favour.

Adam Thompson recently posted, “The head of the baby is emerging as a sign of the second coming of Christ for the next generation.”

Isa 66:9 NKJV, “Shall I bring to the birth, and not cause delivery? Says the Lord: shall I, who cause delivery, shut the womb?”

The time for birthing is imminent – Intense house cleaning, a deep house clean, with repositioning and the resulting disruption is part of that. It is essential to be in the right position and with the right personnel at the time of birthing.

New Realms of Power and Provision

It is time to prepare for new realms. The doors are opening; are we fit and ready to go in?

God is arising!

Psalms 12 starts with David crying out for God's help because godly, holy, faithful and morally true men are disappearing. There is much speaking of falsehoods with “smooth lips” and flattery. It is in this context that God speaks.

Psa 12:5 KJV, “For the oppression of the poor, for the sighing of the needy, now I will arise, says the Lord: I will set him in safety from him that puffeth at him. From a scoffing, snorting, antagonistic breath.”

John 6:16-21 – an exceedingly great wind blew and woke and agitated the sea; Jesus had not returned to them; they weren’t progressing.

The sea of humanity has become woke and agitated, the church can feel as if it’s not progressing in the way it ought, and where is Jesus in it all? Yet it is in these circumstances that Jesus came in a more startling and powerful way. The occupants of the boat traversed the remaining distance without passing through the immediate space or time!

There is a demonic force /wind stirring us wokeness globally. It has been a demonic strategy to intimidate and shut down the voice of the bride. It comes with scoffing and antagonism. In this season we must be receptive to Jesus coming and moving in a different way, and welcome and make room for this. As we do this, we will see supernatural propulsion and acceleration and unprecedented signs and wonders.

Additional thoughts on Application, Response, or Action needed

 We must recognize and understand that we are still in the season of “clean-up”. We must not be alarmed by exposures and confessions, but understand it is part of God's preparation for major birthing. We must pray and guard against disillusionment in ourselves and others when exposure and revelations come. We must pray against false accusations and allow the Lord to do the exposing and subsequent clean up. It is not a time to be pointing the finger at others, but to be closely examining our own hearts. A season of repentance is upon the church.

We are in a season where doors of opportunity and freedom have opened a little. God is saying it is time to push against those doors. We must make and provide opportunity to do that through prayer, reassessing commitment of resources and finances to where the Lord directs.
