PROPHETIC WORDS

I WILL QUESTION AND YOU WILL ANSWER

This prophetic word was given at the NZ Council of Prophets gathering and Behold Conference in Christchurch, March 2025.

Get ready for a difficult task like a man. “I will question you and you will inform Me” was what God said to Job just when he was about to be restored into double portion. He said, and I felt like this was a word for NZ, which is “Get ready for a difficult task like a man (lady). That I will question you and you will inform Me”, the Lord says.

God asked Job 50 questions which challenged him to his soul. He said “Job, where you there? Job, did you know?” What God was doing was not criticizing or putting Job down, but He was challenging Job to remember who He was, which is a son of God, and I believe that’s where we’re entering into right now – into true sonship. It’s why the 5-fold has to stand up and recognize that they’re not the main event – the sons of God are the main event – and that it’s our job to build sons of God into the nation of New Zealand.

My first Pastor was a very wise man …he was 40 years ahead of his time as far as Kingdom mindset goes. He believed his role was to build churches and train a generation and then make himself redundant and move on and plant another church. That was his heart, and I think God’s bringing that back again. There’s a generation of leaders who are not going to raise up something for themselves, but to work to make themselves redundant so they could start again and build something again.

Watch Israel

This nation has a call and it’s been echoed around, and the call is that we’ve got to carry the sound of the Kingdom back to Jerusalem. So, it’s a big call. It’s not something to stand on a hill and be proud about…it’s a huge responsibility. The challenge is will we sit in the questions of God and allow ourselves to be challenged?

My first Pastor said this, “Watch Israel, and what’s happening in Israel in the natural is just what’s about to happen or is happening in the Body of Christ.” So what‘s happening in Israel?… Israel’s at war. And the call seems to be coming out (somebody mentioned the drums of war) and so there are drums of war in the Body of Christ…it’s not something to be afraid of, because God gives us the ultimate victory. So, what is Israel doing? Israel’s attacking terror organisations that are seeking to destroy and dismantle the nation ordained by God. What are we called to do? We are called to dismantle and breakdown the terror organisations in the realm of the Spirit that are called to break down the organization called the church (whatever that looks like).

What is Israel currently attacking? Hammas, Hezbollah and Iran. What does it represent?

• Hammas in Hebrew means “violence.”

• Hezbollah is actually “the party of god” there’s a political party spirit, denominational thing that’s restrictive…

• Iran is “false spiritual authority”, so like the prince of Persia it’s like a principality that’s over all of this terror.

So I believe the call over New Zealand over this next period of time is to follow Israel’s example. We’re the ends of the earth, they’re the centre of the earth. God’s calling us to confront violence, talking about spiritual violence…violence against the church. There’s a militance, antichrist, anti-church brigade in New Zealand. Do we confront it face to face? No, we rise above the snake line, and we begin to govern from our place of authority which is seated at the right hand of God. That’s our position, so positionally God’s called us to begin to dismantle the violence…because the enemy has got a violent agenda. He’s got a violent agenda against the church right now. We need to recognise it and not to get into a reactionary mode, but to govern from a place of Heaven.

God called me into government (for whatever reason) for 4.5 – 5 years and it’s given me a huge insight into government in New Zealand and how it all operates. And I think that’s why He called me into it for that season. The true government is the church so we cannot complain about the government in New Zealand (or the governments that we’ve had), because we’re not governing. Holy Spirit is calling the church to govern from the place of authority, seated at the right hand of the Father, and from that place, as we begin to govern and we begin to bring authority, we will dismantle the violence of Hammas, we will dismantle “the party of god” which is sectarianism, which is denominationalism, and the false principality that is coming against this nation, the prince of Persia which represents a false authority, almost a false apostolic, and the call is that we would come back into line with God’s kingship.

Israeli generals – if we have a look at the current war, the amount of officers that are killed in the Israeli army compared to rank and file is huge, because in the Israeli army they lead from the front. And so a general will be involved sometimes in a charge or going right in the front, not leading from the background, as in a British mandated sense.

So, God’s trying to break us out of that mentality of ruling from the office and actually ruling from the front line. Leading by example. So, the apostolic is about to have a huge shift in our nation. And it’s ruling not from the office, “do this, do that, this is our model.” No, begin to rule from the front, breaking down violence, breaking down the party spirit, breaking down spiritual authorities.

A challenge to the prophets

A challenge to the prophets – Elijah and Elisha. Elisha wasn’t part of the recognised prophetic movement of the day. When he was called he was plowing the field with 12 oxen. 12 speaks of government. Elisha was in some form of spiritual government, you could say. But he killed that old government. When Elijah went to Elisha, he slaughtered the animals and that was the end of the old government.

Elijah saw the same thing on Mt Carmel. He set up the stones…probably Joshua had made an altar on Mt Carmel. He set up the 12 stones again. And God flashed fire out of heaven, God “ate” everything, including the stones. The old government was gone… the old way of doing things, the old system was birthed in a new government, which was prophetic… prophetic apostolic coming together.

But here’s the warning for the prophets in this season – it’s all very well to know the times and seasons, as many prophets of Elijah and Elisha’s day did, but only Elisha crossed over.

At the time many prophets knew Elijah was going to cross over; they had been trained to hear God in different schools of the prophets held in Israel – Jericho, Gilgal and others – and each place had 50 people in training to be prophets. How do I know they knew? Because everywhere the prophets went up to Elisha and said, “Don’t you know that your father’s going to be taken into heaven?” They knew the times and the seasons, but they didn’t cross over with Elijah, only Elisha did.

As it was for them, the challenge today is, “What are you going to do with what you know? Are you going to cross over with Elijah to fight and possess the double portion, or are you going to hear the word and broadcast it, but not enter yourself into the new?
