PROPHETIC WORDS

HOLY SPIRIT IS LOOKING FOR LANDING POINTS

by Wayne Todd

February 2023

I sense that the Holy Spirit is hovering, looking for somewhere to land. In the same way that Noah released the dove from the ark, and the dove flew back and forth, returning to the ark until the day it found dry land amidst the flood waters.

I sense the Lord is searching for landing points, wanting to establish beachheads for His glory. In the same way that in World War Two, the Allied Invasion secured a small beachhead in the battle of Normandy that led to the liberation of Europe, so too the Lord is seeking landing points for a full scale invasion of His glory.

I saw a picture of a darkened sky over Tāmaki Makaurau with pin pricks of light shining through. And the pinpricks of light were like laser beams and they were focused on the people of God who were ready and expectant for God to move in power and glory. Their hearts of faith were the landing places that the Spirit of God was seeking out. Then I sensed ripples of light moving out from those people in ever increasing circles until the circles of light converged with other circles to the point where the whole city was covered in light.

There is a call of God right now for His people to align with His purposes and plans and to offer to Him their hearts of expectancy and faith, so that God’s kingdom might invade the city of Auckland and His will be done on earth as it is in heaven.

I recently wrote a prophetic song that talks about the importance of staying and abiding in God’s presence.

(Turangawaewae means standing place, place of security, place of belonging, place that’s home.)
