PROPHETIC WORDS

BUILDING THE FATHER’S HOUSE

by Adele Keefe

This prophetic word was given at the NZ Council of Prophets gathering in Christchurch, March 2023.

I’ve had a series of dreams lately about the Pou Tokomanawa. A Pou Tokomanawa is the central heart post of a Whare Rūnanga or whare nui. (Māori meeting house)

To Maori, our Whare represent the body of an ancestor. When the Lord shows me a Whare, He’s referring to Himself and His own body. (The body of Christ, the Father’s house)

It is made up of different parts of the body of that ancestor. For example, The Upoko (Head) The maihi (arms) the amo (Legs) and so on.

The Pou Tokomanawa represents the HEART of the ancestor. It is the heart of the house and the Pou that connects heaven and earth.

The Pou Tokomanawa also holds the roof up, which brings shelter and Saftey.

A Word for the Body

In one dream I saw the foundation of a Whare and the only thing standing was the Pou Tokomanawa. The Lord said to me, “Look closer.” As I did, I saw that inside this Pou was an etched image that glowed blue. The Lord said to me, “This is the blueprint for the new build. It is hidden inside My heart and it will be revealed to those who seek after My own heart.”

I then saw a small group of Pākehā people enter through the front of the whare and walk towards the Pou Tokomanawa. They knelt at the foot of it and ran their hands along it, and the etched blueprint was revealed to them. I sensed such a humility – hearts surrendered to the heart of the Father. Then I saw a small group of Māori come forward, but from the back, as if they had sat in the back, waiting this whole time. As they walked towards the Pou Tokomanawa the Lord said, “Look closer.” As I did I saw that etched inside their hearts was the blueprint glowing blue. I began to weep because I knew that the Lord had already, since before the foundations of the earth, written the blueprint inside the hearts of these people, like a seed hidden until the appointed time that it should be revealed. They knelt beside the Pākehā people, who still had their hands upon the Pou Tokomanawa. They then placed their hands on top of theirs. I wept even more. I sensed such a spirit of unity and humility – hearts surrendered to the heart of the Father and each other.

The Lord said, “Many are called, but few are chosen. Not all will be a part of the initial build of this Whare. It will only be revealed to those who seek after My own heart. To those with clean hands and a pure heart, who do not trust in an idol, or swear by a false God.” (Psalm 24) I then saw angels descend with parts to build the Father’s house. They laid the parts in groups and then ascended.

The Lord said,” My house cannot be built from man, for man. My house can only be built from Me, and FOR Me.” Man-made resources won’t be able to build the Father’s house. Only heaven’s resources will, because it’s pure. The Lord is building His house – a new house, a pure house. Not by might, nor power, but by HIS Spirit.
