PROPHETIC WORDS

BEHOLD, THE COMMAND OF THE KING

by Janet Chambers

March 2025.

This prophetic word was given at the NZ Council of Prophets gathering and Behold Conference in Christchurch, March 2025.

As I prayed into the prophetic word I should bring for 2025 I felt the Lord say “I am still keeping with My programme.” I felt that He was expecting us to look again and see what He had indicated for 2024, and that it was still continuing. My word in 2024 began with the statement, “A disruptive alignment is upon us”. He indicated that alignment was necessary, and that it would not be comfortable, and that we shouldn't expect it to be “business as normal’, but that great disruption would accompany the alignment.

The word for 2024 continued to describe a new breed of prophets who would move with strength and boldly bring words urging for repentance. This would be welcomed by a new generation and would impassion them. It would turn hearts of fathers to children and children to fathers (Luke 1:17; Mal 4:5-6).

Isa 40:3-5 Speaks of the one with the John the Baptist spirit, making straight the highway, making the crooked straight and that the glory of the Lord will be revealed at the return of the King.

He also spoke of preparing for war and waking up the mighty men, indicating that they were asleep, and with the word “prepare” meaning to consecrate and to make clean. Even though I delivered this word I was somewhat perplexed by a dream I had that followed, and the command of the King that accompanied it.

Empty Your Pockets

It was in April 2024 that I had this dream where the Lord as Commander of the Army commanded a world wide call up of evangelists. They stood before Him in line with excited anticipation, expecting further instructions for deployment. Instead, to their utter shock, He barked out an order, “Empty your pockets!”

There, in front of all their peers, began an exposure of all that they were carrying around secretly. From their pockets fell evangelist tracts, their tools of the trade. They were prepared to serve, however there also fell condoms, indicating spiritually illegal, sexual vices and relationships, and packets of drugs. These actually looked like sugar sachets, and these sachets indicated dependence on substances instead of on God. There was a secret dependence, and often an addiction, on food and substances to fill a hidden void. Substances had substituted the dependence on the Presence and power of God; substances were being relied on to just “keep going.”

Jesus did the “call up”. He presented Himself as the “Commander of the Army.”

In the morning I had a coffee appointment with Nawa, Prophet of LWCC, and at her prompting I shared the dream. Part way through she interrupted me and began to share a vision she had had that very morning of the Lord walking into the church, picking the church up by the ankles and beginning to shake her, until every last thing in the pockets fell out, right to the lint in the corner of the pockets.

I shared the vision and dream with the congregation of Living Waters, and as I did I saw two scenes – one of a surgeon, who appeared to already have clean hands, scrubbing up before the delivery of a baby, and that of a woman, cleaning her house, a house that was tidy, but she began lifting articles to dust under them – not just tidying, but cleaning all surfaces before the arrival of a baby. Both scenes indicated a link between the clean-up and the imminent birthing of something new – both harvest and a move of God were indicated.

After sharing both dream and vision with the congregation of Living Waters, a gentleman came forward and with trembling shared that that very night I had come to him in a dream and said, “Show me your stuff”. In the dream he then had to empty his pockets in front of me!

Later on that Sunday night I had a further dream. In it the Lord told me I was complicit to the sin if I didn't share publicly on social media what had been revealed. I awoke with the song “Total eclipse of the Heart” going through my head, though I hadn’t in the natural heard, nor knew, the words of this song.

I proceeded to research it and I was stunned at the lyrics:

“Once upon I time I was falling in love,
But now I’m only falling apart
Once upon a time there was light in my life,
But now there's only love in the dark.”

The chorus continues tellingly…

“Every now and then I get a little bit lonely
Every now and then I get a little bit tired.”

There is a repeated line that says “Turn around” and I knew that was the cry of the Holy Spirit to the ones in this position.

A further line poignantly states; “We’re living in a powder keg and giving off sparks.”

I saw through these Lyrics that the Holy Spirit had quickened to me that the loss of the first love had caused a sense of despair and sense of “falling apart”. That the turning from the brilliance of the light had caused a reliance on “Love in the dark”. There hidden activities and illicit lovers attempt to fill the place of true love. It also indicated that the Love of the Lord, by the believer, is now hidden in the dark, rather than shining the light for all to see.

The chorus lines indicated that loneliness and tiredness were not only symptoms of the falling away, but also contributed to the root cause of the problem. The line about the powder keg, indicated just how potentially explosive and destructive the whole situation had really become in the Lord’s eyes, and the extreme urgency for action to avert disaster.

There has been an allurement of secret sin, where repentance has appeared to become less urgent, as the intoxication and numbing seduction of sin blurs the awareness of the need for it (ie repentance). The Holy Spirit, in love, comes now with a glaring spotlight and begins to reveal where the falling away and compromise exists. This is not to cause condemnation, but fresh recognition of our frailty and vulnerability.

This resulting recognition brings greater safety into our lives, because as we realise our vulnerability, our reliance, becomes anchored in Him again.

Three pictures

The Lord showed me three pictures…

  • Handling timber casually – A deep splinter goes in, the splinter is removed, protective gloves go on. A greater awareness of the safety needed causes more care to be exercised. There was extra, and correct, protection needed now.

  • Kids throwing a ball – It nearly hits a window, they laugh nervously, then wisely move away. A repositioning and movement away from potential damage or hazard is needed.

  • Picking up broken glass quickly – A hand is cut, a band aid put on, work resumes, but slower and more carefully. There is an intentional slowing down process needed, with circumspect movement, and prudent observation. There needs to be time allowed for careful observation because of the days at hand.

There is a glaring need to be prudently watchful and discreet in the face of danger and risk currently.

Ex 23:13, “And in all things that I have said unto you be circumspect.”
shaw-mar'
to hedge about (as with thorns), that is, guard; generally to protect, attend to, etc.: - beware, be circumspect, take heed (to self), keep (self), mark, look narrowly, observe, preserve, regard, reserve, save (self), sure, (that lay) wait (for), watch (-man).

1 Pet 4:7, “But the end of all things is at hand: be ye therefore sober, and watch unto prayer.”

Thayer: Sober: exercise self control, put a moderate estimate upon ones self, curb ones passions, Strongs: of sound mind, sane, moderate, sober-minded.

1 Pe 4:17, 18 “For the time (Kairos- season, occasion, appointed time) is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God? And if the righteous scarcely be saved, where shall the ungodly and the sinner appear?”

TPT – “For the time is ripe for judgment to begin in God’s own household. And if it starts with us, what will be the fate of those who refuse to obey the gospel of God? And: If the righteous are barely saved, what will become of the wicked and godless?”

“Scarcely” and “barely saved” aren’t words that imply this walk and calling is a casual walk. Gk = hardly, with difficulty, not easily.

With a fear of being religious have we become apathetic?
With a fear of being legalistic have we become lawless?
With a fear of appearing controlled have we become careless?
Have we forgotten that we have a MASTER & LORD, A KING?
That we are BOND SERVANTS?
Have we basked in our freedom & forgotten our responsibilities?

Like a child playing in the mud with the village children, forgetting she is a princess who belongs in the throne room, have we focused on the frivolous and forgotten the throne room?

“Clean up, get in position, be readied for you know not that which is upon you! Did I give My blood to rescue you, only to have you willingly return to your captivity?”

1 Pet 4:1-7

Empty Your bowels!

“And now I come again saying not only to empty your pockets, but empty your bowels! Now your inmost parts will be examined and cleaned!”

“Sweet sermons and succulent suggestions have only fed the parasites within. It is time for purging the repugnant, for purifying the inner parts and making purposeful. I desire for you to be passion-filled and purpose-filled and fuelled, not parasite defiled. Parasites are the hidden alliances that feed off your goodness, off My goodness within you.”

There will be a rise of repentance, requiring, powerful preachers. Admonishing and reprimanding, they will be rejected by some and welcomed by others. Their heart’s desire and passion will be to see a healthy church, free from the weakening disease of compromise, full of fire and passion.

Jer 17:9,10, “The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it? I the LORD search the heart, I try the reins, even to give every man according to his ways, and according to the fruit of his doings.”

1 Pe 1:13-16, “Wherefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and hope to the end for the grace that is to be brought unto you at the revelation of Jesus Christ; As obedient children, not fashioning yourselves according to the former lusts in your ignorance: But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation; Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy.”

Notes on parasites…

  • One has weakness without knowing the cause – it is hidden within.

  • Spreadable, inability to feel satisfied – seek more and more to be satisfied, without dealing with the hidden cause.

  • Feed off carbohydrates, sweet things.

1 Pe 1:13 - 19 TPT  “So then, prepare your hearts and minds for action! Stay alert and fix your hope firmly on the marvellous grace that is coming to you. For when Jesus Christ is unveiled, a greater measure of grace will be released to you. As God’s obedient children, never again shape your lives by the desires that you followed when you didn’t know better.  Instead, shape your lives to become like the Holy One who called you. For Scripture says: “You are to be holy, because I am holy.” Since you call on him as your heavenly Father, the impartial Judge who judges according to each one’s works, live each day with holy awe and reverence throughout your time on earth. For you know that your lives were ransomed once and for all from the empty and futile way of life handed down from generation to generation. It was not a ransom payment of silver and gold, which eventually perishes,  but the precious blood of Christ—who like a spotless, unblemished lamb was sacrificed for us.”

1 Pet 1:22 TPT “Now, because of your obedience to the truth, you have purified your very souls, and this empowers you to be full of love for your fellow believers. So express this sincere love toward one another passionately and with a pure heart. KJV – Love one another with a pure heart fervently.”

1 Pet 3:11 Amp “Let him turn away from wickedness and shun it, and let him do right. Let him search for peace and seek it eagerly. (do not merely desire peaceful relations with God, with your fellowmen and with yourself, but pursue, go after them.”

  • Getting closer to one another, pursuing closer relationships with believers, not only increases accountability, but strengthens us to stand.

  • Purification empowers and enables us to love one another better. This in turn strengthens us and our position (firing out of the trenches, not along them at each other).

The strengthening power of the Sabbath

There is a fresh emphasis on taking a sabbath rest. To walk circumspectly we need to “slow it down” – take time to consider our path and to feel His presence. We are to pursue His presence and pursue relationships with each other, to pursue accountability. This will help us to understand and guard our weaknesses, and therefore position us into a place of greater awareness and security.

Rev 22:12-14 TPT “Behold, I am coming quickly! I bring my reward with me to repay everyone according to their works. I am the Aleph and the Tav, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the Completion.” Wonderfully blessed are those who wash their robes white so they can access the Tree of Life and enter the city of bliss by its open gates.”

KJV “And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be. I am the Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last. Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.”
