A YEAR OF ACCELERATION AND HOPE

This prophetic word was given at the NZ Council of Prophets gathering and Behold Conference in Christchurch, March 2025.

2025 is the year of ACCELERATION! It is a year of God moving quickly on areas that have caused us pain and loss; areas such as relationships and opportunities that were long ago thought dead, had no life or hope left in them. God is in the business of reconciliation and restoration. He is taking the impossible and releasing the possibility of healing and restored hope. It will happen quickly.

In John 11 we read the story of Lazarus – He was really dead. There was no future and definitely no relationship left with him for Mary and Martha. Jesus came, life was restored, and with it came restoration and healing to a family.

God is taking those relationships that are hopeless in our eyes. He is wanting us to take off the bandages that have hidden people’s brokenness. That’s not always pretty… deliverance can be messy, but we shouldn’t be thinking that it is “God’s job to set them free”. Jesus said “free him of the burial wrappings and let him go” – this is our job!

Deliverance is us taking authority over the power of the enemy, the spirit of death over our loved ones, taking off the bandages and releasing healing into their lives.

Look at the life of a tree: “trees of righteousness, planted of the Lord” (Isa 61:3), the enemy comes along and chops it down, relationships are broken, people stop fellowshipping because of sin, and connections are lost.

2025 is the year for people who have been cut off from their relationship with God in their youth, in their prime, and taken into a life of self; these are the prodigals! They are coming back into a new and fresh relationship with Jesus. God is going to attach them to the spiritual roots they had before, and they will move in the same gifting they had previously, the same anointing will come through the root system as you pray for your prodigal friends and family.

This is the year for “HOPE RENEWED”. Areas that are dead are coming to life. Brokenness is being restored, sickness being healed. Relationships are reconnecting. Prodigals are returning to the house. Don’t give up on anyone or anything!

God is raising up ‘workers for the harvest’ and He needs every prodigal, full of faith, with a fresh knowledge of God’s power to restore them so they are empowered to minister to the next generation of believers. There is a mighty harvest to be brought into the House of God, and lots of spiritual Mums and Dads are needed to finance, encourage, pray and feed the new generation.
