A SEASON OF RE-DIGGING WELLS

This prophetic word was given at the NZ Council of Prophets gathering in Christchurch, March 2023.

The Lord is speaking to me about this being a rapid season of re-digging wells. Many have felt like they have been in a spiritual drought. Revelation felt like it had dried up, and despondency and discouragement have done their best to block up wells. Right now there is a change in the wind. The Holy Spirit is working mightily and rapidly to unblock spiritual wells, both within us personally, and among us corporately. These wells are places of provision, power, freedom and revival. 

This nation has dug many spiritual wells over its lifetime. These were past moves of God which resulted in fresh revelation which led to great innovation, which brought blessing to whole communities, and even our nation. Now is the time for the re-digging of wells for both Maori and Pakeha.

We are the generation that God is commissioning to re-dig wells. As we are filled with the Spirit, the unblocking will happen quickly.

Man made ideas, systems and structures will erode away as the Holy Spirit infills us and then gushes up from our bellies as living water!

Today the Lord says, “Unblock the wells! Not by might, not by power, but by My Spirit!”

We are in a time where the Holy Spirit is once again taking centre stage.

Holy Spirit houses will become watering holes for the hungry, and will house the harvest.

They will be places of  transformation, healing, freedom and deliverance.

I hear the phrase, “Move over, make room!”

There is a shift that will take place in not only our gatherings, but our lives, if we move over and make room for the Holy Spirit to do what He is sent to do. It will result in a realigning of our lives.

God is calling us to live in the Spirit on a whole new level, and though we may be tempted to lean back into what we have known and what we knew, God says, “NO!”

It must be forward! It must be unknown…it must be unfamiliar to keep you in the realm of faith which is where I AM!

As we do this we will see a massive increase in people’s HUNGER for God. It will be insatiable, and it will led to organic gatherings as people taste and see that the Lord is good. The joy of the Lord will be a massive key in bringing freedom for many, particularly those who suffer from mental illness. 

We will see lives altered on the altar in repentance, as people hunger and thirst for righteousness.

There will be a reconsecration that takes place in the lives of believers, and a distancing from vices of the world that have, up until now, been tolerated and even enjoyed.

As this happens we will experience a return to our first love, and many of us will even experience fresh vigour and zeal for Kingdom business once more.

There is the mandate for some to unblock wells which the enemy has filled up in previous eras, and for others there is a pioneering commission to dig new wells. These two things together will result in the resurgence of Holy Spirit ministry.

I see Apostolic alliances forming in order to pioneer in great power. New initiatives will be outworked. This is the day where names and credits are irrelevant, as we put His Name first. This is the time for us to become apt at moving in the Spirit. Five fold teams will work together as the equipping of the saints becomes a main focus. 

God is going to do what no one thought was possible in our Under 30’s. Watch as pure and shining ones rise up like Shadrak, Meshak and Abednigo. These ones will lead our generation alpha into the church of the future. Their time is accelerated and God is appointing spiritual fathers and mothers around these ones to mentor and train them up.

This is the year where God will do unexpected things. As we are led by the Spirit He will literally stop you in your tracks in order to position you in the right place at the right time for harvest. The shakings are shaking the prodigals from places of exile to their spiritual homeland. Young people who swung left are going to fall into the right path.

 Jesus the revolutionary is here, and He is raising revolutionaries across the western world who will have a dramatic effect on society. Right now the harvest is plentiful. It will be where you least expect it. Be ready.
